Meetings in New York on AI, digital transformation, and productivity

Continuing engagements during UN Open Source Week 2026, APO Secretary-General Dr. Indra Pradana Singawinata held a series of meetings in New York on AI, digital transformation, and productivity.

Dr. Indra met with Juan José Martinez Badillo, Chief of the UN Trade and Development New York Office, and Alexandra Zouev, Acting Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism, to exchange views on trade, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and development cooperation.

He also met with Thomas Schnoell, Special Representative of the OECD to the United Nations, and H.E. Ambassador Jihoon Cha, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations, to discuss AI governance, productivity, and policy cooperation.

The meetings provided opportunities to advance dialogue and strengthen cooperation on AI, productivity, digital transformation, and inclusive development across APO member economies.
